Hosting and bringing joy to visitors have always been a pursuit of mine and as a village of Buccoo, it is second nature. Buccoo is one of the most romantically diverse tourism hotspots on the island of Tobago. From horseback riding to picnicking and hiking to no man’s land or sea gazing at night, Buccoo and House of Grace is the place to be. House of Grace is an essential web of the wider tourism adventures within this quiet fishing community.
As one of the steward of the Buccoo Harvest Festival, for many years, I have gracefully curated authentic experiences for guests visiting my home. House of Grace Apartments, founded in 2016, is an extension of this culture and passion. Grace, comes from my name Gracelyn and it is a reflection of my warm personality and good nature. The Chance, my surname, carries with it much history, my family having been one of the prominent families of the village, and a founding member of the Buccoo Goat and Crab Racing Festival. This event is a staple on the national tourism calendar of Trinidad and Tobago.
Overall, I love meeting people; there is no better way of achieving this, than by being in the hospitality industry. Therefore, 5 years shy of retirement, I made an investment in this direction. House of Grace is a cozy space to call home away from home.
